PRECorp employee volunteers will once again be raising funds with a walking taco booth the corner of the Crook County Courthouse lawn, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally “Burnout Wednesday” at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6.
The booth will feature the same menu of a bag of nacho chips, hot taco fixings, and bottled water, affordably priced - $5 per bag - to encourage sales and support for the local work of the Crook County Library, American Legion and Hunting with Heroes.
A goal of raising $2,500 for each organization is set for each recipient.
“These three non-profit entities provide critical support to people in the Sundance and Crook County area, and, with the community’s assistance, we are eager to help them out as much as possible,” said PRECorp spokesperson Stephanie Pribilske.
Adding to the volunteerism of Powder River Energy (PRECorp) employees, the Powder River Energy Foundation has pledged to match funds raised, dollar-for-dollar – doubling the impact of the booth. Thank you to the community in advance for stopping by the booth on August 6 to enjoy a tasty lunch and support these three non-profit organizations. The hours are 11 a.m. until the food runs out.
Established in 2007, the Powder River Energy Foundation has driven more than $2.5 million back to the communities in Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan, and Weston counties.
