Powder River Energy is a Rural Electric Utility Cooperative serving five counties encompassing the northeast corner of Wyoming and a small portion of south central Montana.

PRECorp has over 165 full-time employees serving 28,700 meters over 9,600 miles of overhead and 550 miles of underground power line with a density of 2.6 consumers/mile. The PRECorp service territory is over 16,200 square miles making it larger in land area than the following States: Maryland, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Hawaii, Connecticut, Delaware or Rhode Island.
